Billabong is a 1983 Lancer 36. The Lancer 36 is a great boat both for racing and cruising in the Pacific Northwest. The Lancer 36 is modeled after Chutzpah, a Bill Lee design. Chutzpah won the Transpac race twice.
The Lancer 36 has a unique cabin layout. Instead of the traditional vberth that area has been transformed into a large settee. This opens up an amazing amount of space. Great for cruising with friends and family.
There is a great article on Sailnet about the reliability and seaworthiness of this great boat.
